Hilarious...the end of May is in sight and as predictable as the setting sun, those green with envy rise up with worn out tales of experience and woe.
Some have still not read the 7 April 2008 announcement. Within it there is much to like but let's just look at dates. No deadline is stated for an announcement, just a period of time during which an agreement will be finalized, i.e. '...to finalise the joint venture activity agreement...in April and May 2008'. Therefore, highly unlikely to get an announcement during May.
However, as written elsewhere by those far more researched than myself, there is a mandate for the Ukrainian Government to establish Nuclear Fuel Ukraine, the Novak incorporation, and other entities before 30 June 2008. If Uran is to be a part of this from the beginning, the announcement will be earlier in June.
Sovereign risk, bribery (yes, all in fine fettle here in Oz). For the time being, stick with what we know. An announcement with a government, wherever in the world, will require tremendous attention to detail and coordination with many stakeholders before official confirmation is made.
Oh, and one more big piece of what is known (refer to the 7 April 2008 announcement) : '...will be followed by a visit to Australia by senior representatives of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy and VosGOK'.
