its a two way street, larger holders need a big off market sale - they won't necessarily able to go for a huge price premium, that smaller holders would want.

If one of those holders wanted to sell out today - to pull some profit - imagine what would happen to the share price. Imbalance of liquidity would drive price lower.

So it depends how early on the bigger holders entry on the price was to what type of return they would want to see.

Usually speculation of a t/o happens around this period when share price and sentiment weakens.
