Well, let's not all start jumping at shadows.

From what I can make out, the sheer volume of number-crunching required for the final pit design work may have unexpectedly overwhelmed the already busy computational capacities of one of our consultants and that, with knock-on effects, is the principal cause of the delay.

Frustrating, yes, but hardly fatal.

I think Roo's rumination in an earlier thread makes a useful point, particularly when you consider the fastidious nature of our MD:

"...I will be interested to see what remains to be done to produce a DFS, given the work which has preceded the PFS. I am hoping that what remains is largely writing tender specifications and getting actual quotes from contractors which will pin costs down exactly in the DFS and have contracts more or less ready for signing on decision to mine."
