That was food for thought. I had assumed that the margins had been raised to take care of the rising price and, perhaps, expected volatility. At this level of price and given the recent increases it would not be unrealistic to see silver vary in price between 30c-50c or even up to 75cents per ounce each day.

I could be very wrong however.
