A MAN has driven a car laden with gas bottles into an underground carpark of Merrylands police station.
It is understood the bottles did not detonate in what is suspected to be an attempted terror attack on the Western Sydney police station that has been a long-held target of Sydney radicals.
It is understood police have apprehended the driver and that he is being questioned by police.
No one was reportedly injured.
