well, that's YOUR point of view, smuggy and my point of view says that you're wrong. What we've got now is NOT a "position of strength" -certainly not for everyone in OZ, certainly not in terms of social, moral and enviromental issues and certainly not in terms of reliable and "strong" services and infrastructure. What "we" might be strong on is the so called "economy" which has nothing to do with this or any other mob of politicians. The vision which (I agree with you) is lacking is in what should be done with what money comes into the country. How best to spread it around -through tax relief, provision of infrastructure, services, health, education, police, housing, green policies, etc. A box full of money is just that: a box. It means nothing until you do something sensible with its contents.
