hammerhead - you last paragraph is what prompted my concern on ozl in early november.
surly the boat has sailed on sfr, ozl had their opportunity with this property. why didn't they take it out when they had the opportunity? the due diligence on this property must have been going on for more than 12 months. i think karl has run an effective block and they would need more than the $1.5b in the bank to get it now.
also with the very senior personnel, with the exact skills you need to bring a new venture up, leaving - what does this say?
the next question is - how prospective is the ground that they have around PH? four years of solid drilling by Oz/Ox has not found the next PH.
