Yeh, sorry mate, as soon as I had posted I realised what I had written and deleted.
As it does say the shares are for "facilitating" this renewal perhaps they have brought some new investors / funders in which may change the course of negotiations. Who knows but is weird and the different extension periods for what is supposed to be the same deal suggests a change is in the air.
Gifting someone top 3 shareholder status for extending their own deal smells bizarre at best...…………...​
