When you start to think of manipulation in the markets in the complete opposite way to HC punters you start to see more clearly how the market really works, especially at the spec end. 99% of these little specs end up back where they started after a big run, brokers/large operators run up the price into a news cycle and then offload to the public. Have a read of Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Edwin LeFevre and read about Livermore's "bull manipulations", that's how things really work, all this nonsense about manipulation on HC when ever a stock gets sold is just baggies trying to soothe each others worries

You won't see big runners that go on to make new highs have massive distribution like ENV had, if you look at all those charts W3 was comparing to, they all had big runs up and then came back in and formed higher bases on bugger all volume, ENV was just hosed and hosed and hosed some more as large holders dumped into the publics frenzy
