"TDX do have income now from the licensing deals as Jenny has stated "
Where did she stated that there is income NOW? How much is it?
"it was not TDX that broke the contract but Bayer."
There were roughly three type of agreements:
1. Supply of readrite.
2. Licensing of readrite.
3. Development of new products.
Bayer decided not to pursue the development of new product.
TDX cannot survive with the slow sales of readrite and the small royalties in monetary term. TDX trying to terminate agreements 1 and 2 above as it can no longer afford to keep going with no income.
Licensing of readrite is just an OEM agreement, so I won't look too much into it. The supply agreement is a concern if there is no termination clause or there is compensation if the supply is not forthcoming.
So far it is still vague.
