its more of a psychological aspect here..
you can list countless reason on why a CR is good, but a large number of investors simply have a negative sentiment towards CR´s. this is evident and backed up by the market itself. how many small companies have actually managed to "go all the way alone" and created reasonable value increases for shareholders? a very, very limited number....
this negative sentiment will always prevail in the majority..."Company X is pleased to announce a capital raise with Financing Inc" first though of most, more dilution and no answer beyond depletion due to cash burn.
as I have stated before, (assuming it will be a CR) ANP management need to work against this negative sentiment and stop pretending all retail investors are idiots that can be fed with anything (not saying its the case here, but a prominent approach in the broader junior mining / small biotech world)
- why they chose dilution over a partnership? to be explained in the NR to justify going down this road. with specific details, e.g. Big Company X provided us a partnership offer, but wanted to have 80% of all future revenues; which we did not consider a serious offer to create shareholder value.
- what is the long term plan? not just the usual general BS that we are fed, but actual strategies and milestones that investors can work with. e.g. we decided to conducted a CR now, since we have also signed a MOU with Big Company X to enter into a definite partnership should we achieve certain milestones in our upcoming trial.
can a CR be executed as a success for shareholders? definitely, but rarely done and seen.
