Here is some data for Credit Suisse over the past few months:
Total trade volume:
01/10 to 22/10 (last week): $1.34m;
01/09 to 30/09: $644k;
01/08 to 31/08: $336k;
01/07 to 31/07: $444k.
The volume for the past three weeks is almost as much as the last three months combined (July-Sept).
Could just be due to the price action or could be due to something else. I'll let others make their own assumptions, I just present the data.
