Coming soon to a Moscow building, live in living colour: a Pepsi ad on a video screen designed by Perth outdoor sign company Lumacom.
"Not only has the order to supply a screen for promoting one of the world's most dramatic consumer companies been secured, it is also the first sale of a LumaSign in Russia," Lumacom managing director Rodd Sala said.
"The sale further reinforces the cost and environmental benefits of Lumacom technology."
Mr Sala said acceptance of the company's technology in Russia was a very significant and important event for Lumacom.
He will spend more time in Europe with the company's joint venture partner, Mega Group, in a bid to line up more sites for the company's video screens.
"As previously stated, a number of prestigious sites are being assessed and negotiated as part of Lumacom's rollout of joint advertising, revenue share deals for Europe," Mr Sala said.
This week's deal comes after the company predicted in May its first colour video screen at the Maremagnum waterfront complex in Barcelona would generate revenue of about $800,000 a year from advertisers paying to appear on it.
It lined up watch brand Tag Heuer and Hugo Boss as advertisers on the site but didn't say how much revenue it gained.
