Do we think the scheme booklet may actually outline any potential plans for what the merged entity will decide on this matter?

I would think a part of selling us the benefits and how it actually DOES benefit TMT (or both parties for that matter), some of these questions should be mandatory. Like, stating clearly that there won't be two processing facilities, it's obvious, but even after the merger was announced, both MD's were spruiking their current facility plans, so surely the scheme booklet can't be a continuation of this mixed hodge podge of what will be going on when we're under the one roof.

I would say the same with the independent experts report, if they can't outline a plan that see's value taken from both companies when merged, then it'll just be a lot pages of blowing smoke without a point.

(I thank Sabine for giving me a more optimistic view, that the merger documents may actually address some of the massive vagueness we have had so far).

I agree Troy that blending just for the sake of extending mine life 20 years is not going to help the economics. AVL also drilled out their Southern tenament but we are yet to see any resource update for their resource either, so best case the plan is still to process this first and get 6 or 7 years with iron/titanium recoveries with the combined resource.

For all the positives I listed for the offsite plant, probably the one I give most weight to is government falling for this great idea of a plant that will be 'useful and central to all' and communicates this clearly to management that they want the facility built in Geraldton if they are going to throw big capital at it.. But the trucking costs, and emissions without Vinces fleet of hydrogen trucks ready to haul ore, that should trump everything as the death sentence to this idea.

Darn I really did intend no poop flinging in this thread, but it quickly becomes a glaring question,,, how does a whole shareholder base, and touted as outstanding bright management team even get behind and defend the plan to truck bulk ore 600kms when there is a proven water source on site and gas pipeline on the way?
Maybe when Vince was out it was an opportunity to do a u-turn,,, or I guess as we see, better idea is to just buy out a company that already has the plan that you want? and it's just been a smokescreen by Graham that AVL would still be processing in Geraldton?

Stil, this has been an extremely strange year. No direction the company takes from this point would shock me.
