According to reports i picked up in march from sources such as The street the large US funds have been selling the AUD and australian shares since febuary when they seem to have come to the belief that China couldnt keep going at the rate it was and this would be bad news for australia . With the news from europe not good and the belief rightly or wrongly that the proposed resouces tax is a profit killer it is not surprising that mays traditional down time is worse than usual
