I have been enthusiastically brushing up on the lyrics for the musical production of Oklahoma. Following the announcement by Clean Global Energy of its foray into North America, I find myself continually humming Oh What a Beautiful Morning.

"The Oklahoma project will place CGE at the forefront of commercializing UCG in the western world," states the company in its December 6, 2010 announcement.

There are of course many details still unannounced including the specifics of funding. At this stage of the negotiations with AES Corporation all we know is that;

"Funding of the project is proposed through our US entity [CGEI]."

Do you think that AES, the Fortune 500 global power company with 27,000 employees, is unaware that CGE has a market cap of $10m with $1m in the bank? The international standing of the directors and the technology which underpins the company must indeed be world class.
