Crashy - don't know where you'd find much good at $70k here on the Goldie - more like $120K for a decent unit unless you want to slum it. Check out some of the real estate sites to get an idea of the prices. After 6 years in Sydney nothing beats the Goldie, space, easy access to beaches and no where takes more than a few minutes to get anywhere, 30 minutes from the south the the north is easy, so nothing like Sydney.
September is a good time to move here, weather getting warmer, although it's freezing here today (16C)
