Where to for WaveHub?

From what I understand, about a third of the cost of developing WaveHub came from the European Regional Development Fund.

Of the four companies that have secured berths at WaveHub, only one (Seatricity) is British.  The other three are Carnegie Wave Energy (Australia), Fortum (Finland) and Alstom (France).

The question now is will the EU continue to support WaveHub with further grants from the ERDF?

Has WaveHub been developed to the point where it no longer needs further grants?

Do the potential benefits for the European energy industry outweigh the fallout from Brexit?

I suspect that both the EU and the U.K. are that far down the development pathway that both would want this project to continue.

There must be scores of other UK/EU joint projects in other industries, that would be in a similar position.

I wish them well in negotiating their way through this mess.
