Thanks all. My first posting on Webjet. I am curious why this stock has been shorted for so long.
Webjet's traditional business has a growing number of competitors, so it needs to keep evolving to stay ahead of the pack and protect it's market reputation and positioning.
I have been doing some research on its WebBeds subsidiary. Impressive and smart business - it is this part of Webjet that I think will continue to differentiate it from its competitors and keep it on its impressive YOY growth path. Key ingredients:
* global B2B market place ... early mover advantage
* Rezchain ... blockchain ... helps to solve a reconciliation problem between B2B market participants ... clip rate per transaction.
* Rezchain .... IP .... can can this be applied to other transaction types
* WebBeds Destination Index (WDI) .... collecting valuable global data with each transaction ... data has $$ value ... predictive capability
* Using WDI predictive capabilities to enter and exit (reduce) market involvement in countries to optimise growth and minimise cost - clever
