LME metals slip lower in early pre-market
Wednesday March 3, 4:50 am ET
* (MCU3) - Copper remains under $3,000 level after bout of profit-taking
and dollar strength keep buyers at bay. Trades at $2,988/2,996 a tonne by 0945 GMT, down from
Tuesday's kerb close of $3,002.
* Options declaration later this morning not seen pushing prices significantly, with open interest
skewed towards calls, and strikes between $2,900 and $3,050 likely to be focus of interest.
* (MAL3) - Drops back to $1,715/17 from $1,725. Seen potentially testing $1,700 level having
failed to crack tough resistance at $1,745. Options declaration could contribute to pushing the
market lower.
* (MNI3) - Shifts back $50 to $14,250/14,350.
* (MSN3) - Dragged down by copper's fall. Drops $90 to $6,900/940.
