You know, I was talking to a geo a couple of weeks ago, and he said that most world-class deposits were found, not from people looking for world-class deposits, but from small finds that just kept getting bigger.
The implication - at least as far as I see it - is you should look for small, worthwhile finds, and see if any of them turn into world-class deposits, because by only looking for the ODs of this world, you'll eliminate most of what will turn into the ODs of this world.
