re: where to from here - also Not that i want to be seen as an apologist for Don A., but BHP was very lucky I feel not to have crashed and burned on its governance structures from what appears to have been going on behind the scenes in recent years - merger talks without board consent and heaven knows what else, etc. All of which it took Argus to stumble on to and correct. If anything, governance processes and culture within BHP seem, from the outside anyway, to be much the better for his influence.
