Okay yes it does suck to see the share price drop 20% in one day, especially if you only wanted to be in for the short term or if you have been holding for a while. But I really do believe this termination will be good for the future of ECT.

I think when Tincom came along, ECT got over excited by the deal and the $$$$. ECT probably let negotiations drag along the last few years in fears their (only?) potential big deal would back out. Big mistake by management to let negotiations drag on this long, but I guess the potential $$$ being offered was too good to pass up and ECT let Tincom walk all over them.

Now I am wondering what has happend in the last month for ECT to change their minds about Tincom? Tincom made the $500 000 deposit and believes in the technology. So why would ECT not give Tincom the extension? They did wait 2 years to get this far, so what's another few months or even a year? ECT must be pretty confident they can sign a deal soon, otherwise they would've just waited for Tincom.

I don't know contracts, but I certainly know my contract would've said "$500 000 deposit paid by x date and if the $1 000 000 is not paid by x date then the original $500 000 will be kept by ECT". Another big mistake by management?

I am thinking they have recently been offered a bigger and better deal and this is ECT's escape clause from Tincom. Like I said in my last post, if ECT were desperate for the $$$$ they would've extended with Tincom.

If this test burn in China goes well it will give ECT amazing data and evidence to showcase to the world. This will lead to deals being signed all over the world.

Now I hope management have learned a lesson from dealing with Tincom!
