Fair call wadman, it's not all on management and clearly they can't control every stage of the process. So, you're right.
My comment is more of a reflection of what I perceive the negative market reaction and poor share price to be about.
To my mind it all comes down to communication and managing expectations while building a positive story for the company. Nick tried to do this when he started, got the coverage but possibly made too many specific promises he had no control over. Given the lack of news over the past few months I assume the board told him to pull his head in, but now we have nothing, so now we're upset we're in the dark. I'm sure Nick is probably getting pretty frustrated as well.
