Yep you are correct , that if you have not sold then you have not incurred a Capital Loss.

My way of thinking & doing is that I take it as an opportunity to sell & buy them back again , thereby taking the Capital Loss which is great for using it against future Capital Gains .

In saying that though , the buy & sell numbers on TLG make it very hard to manage this.

Have done this many times over the years to great effect , especially during the GFC , which has me now having a huge loss at my disposal & shares that are now in front of where they were pre GFC .

Though now having this Capital Loss on TLG I am more than confident that the fundamentals , & especially the extreme low number of shares on issue , will keep me ( us ) in good stead .

The more I read up on Graphite/Graphene & it's future uses the more positive I am.
