Mike
After reading your post i am wondering why all those fiscal fools have been investing in WES since 2008.
Do you remember the $2 per share special dividend that WES handed out to their faithful shareholders under Mike Chaney.
That was because a war chest developed as a result of not being able to find a suitable acquisition.(plus other factors)
Mike everyone to their own strategy in investing or punting in your case, but its a bit tough to knock a company that has stood up and looked after its shareholders as well as WES has over many years. Judging by todays trading activity institutions plus mums and dads still think its a good thing. As others have indicated, shorting WES is fraught with danger especially in a rising market. I know you are thinking that the current rising market will be short lived. Who knows, not me.
