Excellent analysis once again. I would like to question you in regards to this comment:
"Taking your chosen 10-year time horizon, and following the capital cycle template I described above; in the 10 years between 2003 and 2012"
I am wondering, why did you decide to use a 10 year horizon? How do you decide what horizon to use when conducting you analysis? i.e. does it reflect materiality of the business operations? does it reflect the materiality of the business financial results? does it reflect a certain time period - i.e. pre/ post GFC period or even a combination of the two periods. Which is appropriate and why when looking at the historical company data?
