As we have seen before, case in point Indian gold sales late 2009, a large volume of gold coming onto the market does not mean that there will be a fall in the price.
I should clarify further that Cypress does not hold a large volume, the amount of the sale talked about is $400,000,000.
There would be plenty of individual people around the world that could buy that amount before breakfast. So, from past observation, the talk of Cypress gold sales depressing the price of gold is a complete furphy.
What has got my attention lately is the potential sale of Granny Smith. Pinto alluded to this potential sale last year.
If Focus did happen to end up with this asset for a bargain price...how handy would that be if Laverton starts to realise the potential.
As for the price of Gold...start reading the Guardian news on line. Check out Euro Crisis live.( a daily summary of financial events in Euroland.) Then be calm, it's not a matter of 'if' but when....Juju
