Yes you make some good points.
The dividend yield certainly looks attractive and there is some certainty of cash flow out to end 2018 (short of any cancellation) is a strong point. It will be an interesting one to watch, as looking at the chart it does appear that, as you correctly noted, no one is buying for growth and so if the price falls each time the dividend is paid, and then no new buyers come in to push to price higher, well then one is simply swapping capital growth for income but net net over time one is no better off, and indeed risks actually loosing money.
