I expect there will be an update soon from AC. Agree they would have anticipated this.

I think they will try to find a new partner, but that will be difficult, especially while copper remains under $3/lb. There is still no appetite for mining projects these days unless they are true Tier 1 operations. I know of more than one confident MD who has jetted off a worldwide investor hunt recently who's come back humbled with nothing to show for it.

It's not completely out of the question that SRIG come back when they get their act together. But I suspect it was gamesmanship on their part rather than genuine inability to get the deal signed off, so the AOH team will have to think long and hard about whether they re-engage.
