One thing I would like to understand, as I don't ever remember seeing this anywhere, what did Joe create AMG to address. I may agree with you on the early days depending on what problem Joe was trying to solve.
More recently, however, I believe the energy advances are squarely focused on addressing the exact needs of the market re: stabilisation of silicon for li-ion batteries.
As far as the strategy-CEO, CEO - strategy, the only thing I know is there is no try... ;-)
