Learner - mate you have to listen and try and absorb a bit more - how can the deal be done if the vote has not taken place to approve it. Are you sticking to this line to stir things up? I suspect that is the case.
I think I would hate to be you - thinking everyone is just lying and breaking promises. Must be empty inside.

I guess it will say it will be finalized "in the coming weeks". It has worked for them before. It will work for them again. The deal most probably won't happen, or will happen and be worthless.
How much they already received should have been made public. The fact it hasn't is another red light.
2. That is so much BS he told you. VC is not a "bigger company" than MGC. For god's sake, the CEO is also their web designer. Their offices are in some nondescript building if I remember well.
Their managers didn't have a LinkedIn account at the time. You couldn't buy anything on their website and could find almost nothing on the internet about them. Give me a break.
3. Just more promises to keep hope up.
I guess it takes much more time to tell a lie than tell the truth, hence the 2.5 hours.
