    Not sure a sorry was necessary you and @bigfella clearly get it. I have posted about this range issue more than once and if you take the statement of adding 50 miles and ranges of 250 to 500 miles today across EV’s generally the 1,000 miles referred to only comes from much wider use in EV’s of AKIDA technology.

    Peter van der Made said at the 2019 AGM that he could do all the compute needed in an EV with 100 AKD1000 chips or run just the sensors with nine AKD1000.

    After the AGM the then CEO went to lengths to hose down the idea that Brainchip was working on doing all the compute in EV’s and that while it was possible they were only focused on the edge.

    Over the last 12 months the language has changed and we have Brainchip talking about EV’s being edge devices - Automotive IoT- and now 1,000 miles which until last week was an unheard of goal in the EV race.

    Throwing in a few AKIDA smart sensors would likely add the 50 miles, to achieve 1,000 miles you would HOWEVER be throwing out all of the old compute and running AKIDA exclusively.

    We have had Peter van der Made referring to the Elon Musk plastic bag identification problem and Anil Mankar referencing LSTM being in the next version which is needed for this problem and sitting on a panel with Toyota speaking in a fashion with Toyota that rang of familiarity.

    It all speaks to me of a much bigger up take of AKIDA technology than one AKD1000 chip adjusting the seat and identifying the driver.

    Think about 100 AKD2000 in every Ford and Toyota EV produced creating range increase to 800 to 1,000 miles and what that would mean to the world by 2030.
