This will be paid as return of capital, which is different than dividend as HZN is effectively giving you back some money that you initially paid when you purchased shares. The advantage is that you won't need to report that as income to ATO on your next tax return (providing that HZN receives positive ruling from the ATO). Once you sell, you will however need to adjust your buy price - so if you paid 10c a share, your cost base will be 7c a share. It seems highly likely that HZN will keep rewarding shareholders like this in coming years, though they might change from return of capital to pay it as dividend.
