Love to get some thoughts from CCX shareholders on how the next 6-12 months could play out for the shares.
On one hand you have a management team that has been investing heavily in inventory but yet recently called for demand softness, and on the other hand you have a stock that has meaningfully de-rated despite a long-term global growth story that looks very much intact. So I get that getting stuck with too much inventory could turn very ugly in the near-term and because of these inventory investments, M&A is probably on the back burner for now, but aren't those very short-term concerns?
Interestingly QVG completely sold out of their position after earnings. CCX has been one of their most successful investments but yet, they decided to move on. Again, one has to balance that with recent insider buying from the chairman and Aussie Super upping their stake from 8 to 10% the day after the stock cratered.
Any thoughts here?
