It strikes me that the market has almost written down the value of Zameen to zero.
Hard to be definitive about what Zameen's value really is, but it is certainly a number somewhat greater than zero.
As for FDV overall, my sense is that for an upwards re-rating of the stock to occur, things don't need to actually get better; just less-worse would do it.
And if things do end up actually getting better, in that case ....
Has asymmetric investment opportunity written all over it.
