…afaik Rio’s costs are still a mystery, and imo we won’t find out any details wrt the costs of their 3ktpa plant.
…our feasibility study will outline cost expectations for our +10ktpa operation, and viability will be in the context of longer-term Li pricing forecasts, not unsustainable bottom-of-the-trough prices; and afaict a funding partner will be acutely aware that production from an expanded plant is years away, with the current rut warranting minimal concern.
There has been plenty of commentary about incentive pricing etc, dyor on whether anything close to the current figures are remotely sustainable in a market that is growing so rapidly….
Iirc we should find out later this year how the anticipated economics of our expansion are shaping up.
