With the turmoil and in some cases trauma that we have just gone through - shareholders, employees, customers, licensees, suppliers - I doubt that any of us are in a good frame of mind to make optimum judgments about the long term.
There would be benefit in having an impartial party - eg a independent business consultant or if we were lucky to find the right person quickly, the new CEO - analyze the business from top to bottom; and determine options for the future. And not a BS superficial analysis - deep investigation and consideration, leading to fully documented plans.
Learning from history will help us from repeating it.
