According to Sigalla (I know!), Bouris and co had a presentation to them by some within TZ. I'm sure the Anixter deal must have been covered in detail. I reckon out of everything, it was this deal which gave Bouris the desire to fight for the position of chairman. In my opinion, it is the Anixter deal which truly moves TZ out of the realms of being a spec stock.

By the "as you were" comment, what I mean is that we shouldn't be considering solutions to "doomsday" scenarios just yet, which is what your Southco proposition seems to be. I would have thought the progress made to supply Anixter negates the need to get any other company involved i.e TZ have got this far without, so why involve a fastener company now? We might as well say to Southco, we're in deep doo-dah, take advantage of us please. I'm sure the majority of shareholders would prefer to dip into their own pockets than have this happen.
