14/8/2009 was always the date that the data room closed( after a two week extension from the original date). It seems some people where expecting an announcement along the lines of company XYZ has made a successful bid on the JV...oh yeh and we have also drilled and found gas!! MEO has made all the right moves so far IMHO. The ann. on friday was great news considering the upgrades and the risk/reward ratios. Had to laugh when i read the last line and started to see the sp drop with nerves getting the better of some. I for one was never expecting the success rate to be 1:3 so this gives me added confidence. This ann. should of pushed the sp slightly higher but nervous investors and short term profit taking just gave us the chance to grab a few more before this really gets going in Sept.
