Absolutely not actually.... The opposite... Starlinks Satellites are just about in the lowest possible orbit you can get them.... This makes the latency actually lower than many earthbound services ... usually just 30-50ms ping....

(This compares to OLD style satellite links using the far high geosynch orbits, where ping is BAD... usually over 500ms)

Starlink actually likely to be FAVOURED by gamers.

Very little reason for Starlink to Partner with any other ISP, they are a self-contained service.. shipping their unit setup's directly to the end user. They were designed with a self-service model for deployment from the start.
