I have been watching Michael Moore's document "Where to invade next."
Michael travels to Europe and compares the ways things are done in Europe to the U.S.
It makes America look so backward in its policies and the way people get treated.
I learned some unusual facts.
America spend 56% of all taxes raised on the military.
America has a 80% reoffending rate for criminals, Norway 20%. Why because Norway rehabilitates its prisoners.
In France even in the poorest schools children get 3 course lunches designed and cooked by chefs.
There are no vending machines selling junk food. Kids get taught about nutrition and how to eat right.
American kids get slop.
In Portugal it is not a criminal offence to use drugs. Since changing the law Portugal's drug use is declining.
The examples in the documentary go on and on how America and Australia should rethink the way things are done.
The documentary is recommended viewing.
