wether you like them or not, you don’t have to have rose coloured glasses to see they’re better off with merchant anyway.
As people have alluded to many times in the past- Canopy have been diverging, setting up they’re own interests in Australia. Spending money in other areas that don’t line up to where AC8 says they’re headed. So now you’ve gotten rid of an ‘anchor investor’ who doesn’t really give two hoots about it.
On the other side you have merchant. A company that wants to make returns on investments. Has had a proven track record at being able to make necessary changes to make a company profitable.
What’s not to understand why this makes it a far better match? (Keeping in mind I’m not talking about the actual company, I’m purely talking about the majority holders)
