exactly benson,
at 10c dividend and 5% yield share price will be $2.00.
As the market comes to realise this the market will continue to push downwards, merely because the gravitational push of sellers will outweigh diminishing buyers.
The same thing happened several years ago when the share price was much much higher, back then buyings were basing their "yield buy" on a 28c share dividend or what ever it was back then.
