Where to now for long term investors of Telstra, page-10145

im not sure what the long term play here is with telstra.

From what i can see, In mobile plans and internet they are almost always the most expensive, the network coverage is not that much better than the competitors (and sometimes worse) in most major areas, and sure 5G will allow margins above what they get on NBN, but with the other 2 parties coming into 5G this will get squeezed down as well.

I generally like to be a user of companies that I invest in, but have never been able to take up Telstra plans. Recently i called to ask what I was getting for the extra money per month on a plan, and they said 'oh the coverage in rural areas and customer service is better'... you kidding me?

The annual report says they have made less key product revenue last year in 4 out of 5 segments.

So what is the play for long term investors of Telstra? where to now?
