Telstra is run by morons. They didn't pick up their phones for 6 months despite LITERALLY being a TELECOMMUNICATIONS company, meaning there has been an exodus of customers. They screwed their loyal customer base over when they needed them most... yet other companies like Aussie Broadband still managed to answer phones (think they setup a system to redirect calls to their employees at home).
Meanwhile Telstra over-charge and under deliver when it comes to broadband... their landlines business is dead... they are increasing their mobile phone fee's in an ever increasingly competitive market, Foxtel is getting destroyed by both Netflix and cheaper sports streaming services and basically Telstra have no growth industry whatsoever to speak of.
