You make many assumptions in yr post but imo they are not supported by 'again' guidance.
I'm sure the big insto's are pushing for a restructure,lol thats why penn is asking shareholders what to do.
This complex regulation you mention,in reference to what.? Reselling energy ?buying nbn? Besides those 2 issues there is nothing complex about this restructure imo only its just a stupid restructure.
First buying nbn,wont happen due to nbn govt legislation even thru infraco.Infraco is still controlled by telstra even at 51% so thats a no from govt due to nbn legislation then the accc has already/also said no.Yes tls could monetize the nbn lease but not buy back 'control' of the nbn.

-penn says tls will resell renewable electricity only to tls customers,thats fine but stupid.Tls must sell gas also and bricksworks showed penn how tls can resell gas ie one stop shop ie mobile,fnbn,electricity and gas.The reason tls must resell gas.But penn wont because gas is a fossil fuel.

Telstra must compete with AGL and Origin who currently sell electricity,gas and nbn.Whats missing hmm 'mobile',as posted many times agl and origin will eventually resell mobile.And look what they have to offer TPG mobile ie an 8 million customer base ie 4 million each agl and origin.
This stupid restructure is just giving TPG,origin and agl more time to grow their common sense restructure.And when its completed tls will have serious competition.
tls needs a new ceo and chairman now to restructure tls and take advantage of tls's current competitive advantages before those competitive advantages continue to be diluted more every year by current management imo only..
