i don't get why people think bundling is so good. I'm with a smaller ISP, a smaller energy reseller and a smaller mobile provider and I can sure bet both my service is better and cost is cheaper than yours.
One stop shops are notorious for billing errors, customer service woes that don't know what they are talking about due to product ranges and reliance on one entity.
Good luck to Telstra if they decide to sell energy but I wouldn't go near it. Not only that, I axed all the Telstra lines and switched to MyNetFone and never looked back. No need to wait on a call for more than 5 minutes to get a question answered if I ever have an issue.
Aussie Broadband has stolen hundreds of thousands of NBN connections off Telstra and Superloop reports in the next week or so and will show similar trajectory.
If Penn knew what he was doing he'd realise the value of the sum of the parts. Properly slim down the entity and focus on mobile whilst they still have a small advantage. They could also buy Superloop or Uniti Wireless for the talent. How much time did they stuff around with Foxtel? Why do their NBN plans have lower quality routing than ABB/Superloop yet cost more? They still fail to make margin there.
