It's a one year event , then dividends drop to 70% of profits so it not a growth stock more like a negative growth stock, unless they can stop iiNet and others like Amazon taking customers away from them using other telco arrangements.
Sure Telstra are buying time with this high yield by including a capital component in their proposed dividend but I don't believe a capital return should be regarded as being part of the yield surely?
