The announcement is significant because it promises to solve the management problem, no way will they find new people to manage these companies that are as bad as Penn.
And more importantly from a market psychology point of view, it puts a timeline on it, the risk of holders capitulating and selling down to a new low is significantly reduce as they have a story to hold to, wait for the split, less than 9 months.
I hope to see broker upgrades in coming days.
